Where do I put the veg?
"The aim of the project is to look at the language of form and it's uses in interaction. (...) Products can be designed which use form and/or metaphor to make their use more intuitive. Kitchen equipment has involved little over the past 100 years. Though new technology has given us more powerful and faster ways to prepare food the design of these objects has rarely changed much since their first launch.Can we look at the kitchen equipment and especially the food processor with fresh eyes? Can we make these tools easier to use while retaining safety requirements? Can we use the form to do these things and eliminate the need for manuals and text on objects?"
