The personal interest in evolutionary algorithms as a design technique and programming method was the basis for this project. Becks Bombs Iraq exploits the inherent predictive character of this technique to fictionally generate future news headlines.

BECKS BOMS IRAQ is an auto-generative software which grabs headlines from online news sources around the world collected under one roof at news.google.com. The software assesses the headlines according to certain criteria and submits them to an evolutionary process (genetic algorithm) which spits out evolved, fitter, future headlines.
