Inspired by seemingly abandoned office spaces in central London at nighttime, I imagined how the almost spooky calmness of these spaces gets suddenly broken by strange machine activity. The smart machines evade the control of their inventors...

Two computers which are set in an office environment (desk, office chair, desk lamp left on, phone, folders, paperwork etc.) turn on and engage in an abstract conversation with each other, cumulating in the composition of a sound file which is sent via email to the audience. The underlying technique is borrowed from programming methods used to create computer viruses.
